Streaks & Cheers

The quiet game kids can't stop playing with themselves.

Every recurring chore tracks a streak — how many cycles in a row it's been completed — plus a personal best. Approving one is also a chance to react: attach an emoji and a short note that shows up right on the child's chore, an instant, personal thumbs-up they can see for themselves.

Weekly chore progress in Kupa3

Recurring chores build the streak automatically

Set any chore to repeat weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly and Kupa3 starts counting — no extra setup. The weekly progress bar shows exactly how close this week is to being complete.

The consequence is visible, not a surprise

If a mandatory chore is missed, the child sees exactly why that week's allowance didn't land — and a fresh, encouraging start to the new week right below it.

Allowance forfeit notice in Kupa3

Three steps, start to finish

1

Keep the chain going

Complete a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly chore on time and its streak count climbs by one. Miss a cycle and the streak resets — with a gentle, honest recap explaining what happened, never a scolding.

2

Chase a personal best

Kupa3 remembers each chore's best-ever streak, so kids have something to beat even after a slip-up.

3

Send a cheer

When you approve a chore, add an emoji and a one-line note. It appears on the child's task immediately — a small moment of recognition that costs you five seconds.

Get the most out of it

💡

A short note beats a generic emoji — "proud of you for remembering without asking!" means more than 👍.

💡

Streaks work best on chores kids actually do daily or weekly, like making the bed — pick a cadence they can realistically keep.

💡

Don't panic over a broken streak — the recap is designed to be encouraging, not a guilt trip. Use it as a light nudge to try again.
